What are you doing? You agreed to Thursday nights only. It’s Tuesday.

Val rang Indie’s doorbell before his inner voice could convince him what a colossal mistake he was making.

Yeah, he and Indie had agreed to Thursdays only, but she’d also been more than willing to fuck him in the parking lot just two hours ago.

Maybe she’s changed her mind.

Christ, he hoped not. He rang the doorbell again, shoving his hands into his pockets to warm them up. It had stopped snowing earlier, but the wind was bitterly cold. The seconds ticked by, and the knot of apprehension in his stomach tightened.

She’s not home. You’re standing on her front step, freezing your nuts off for nothing.

He rang the doorbell a third time. The blinds were pulled over the big bay window, but he could see warm light glowing behind them, and snowy tire tracks led up the driveway into the garage. It certainly looked like she was home.

Which means she’s ignoring you. Go home. You’re making a fool of yourself.

He looked around her neighbourhood, wondering whether her neighbours would call the cops if they saw him peeking into the kitchen window at the side of the house. That window didn’t have blinds, just a sheer curtain.

Do you hear yourself? Jesus Christ, get the fucking message. Indie doesn’t want to see you tonight.

The door opened, and Indie, looking flushed and flustered and wearing a silky blue robe, stared at him. “Val?”

“Hey,” he said. “Is this a bad time?”

“Uh, no, come in.”

He stepped into the house, taking off his boots and jacket as Indie stared at him. She still looked flustered, and weirdly, a hint of guilt radiated from her.

“It smells good in here,” he said. Whatever she’d cooked for dinner made him wish he hadn’t skipped his.

“Beef stew. In the slow cooker.” Her voice sounded off.

“You okay?” he asked.

She didn’t say anything, just continued to stare at him like he had a second head. He grimaced inwardly. What was he thinking? She obviously didn’t want him here.

“I’m gonna go,” he said. “I shouldn’t have -”

Indie launched herself at him, and he caught her with a grunt. She kissed him hard, her hands sinking into his hair and gripping tight as she pushed her tongue into his mouth. He returned her kiss, his need for her a burning fire inside him. He cupped her breast through her robe, relishing the sound of her soft moan.

They stumbled down the hallway, neither willing to stop kissing or touching the other. Indie’s soft hands were all over him - up his shirt, cupping his dick through his jeans, grabbing his ass.

She pushed him in the direction of the couch. An iPad and a mug of tea sat on the coffee table, and a few blankets were arranged in a cozy nest on the sofa. He grunted when she pushed him hard on the chest and sat in the middle of the blankets with a heavy thump.

She straddled him, her robe rising around her thighs and gaping at her chest.
